  • Our family just loves this zoo! We have been members for two years now it it truly is worth every penny! We have a two year old and he enjoys every visit. There are so many animals to see and we feel like each time there is something new that we see. There is also so much space that it is a great place for a toddler to explore. There are all of the animals of course, but there's also playgrounds, splash pads, trails, and more to discover. The variety and quality of their exhibits is hard to come by and is one of the best zoos I have been to. Even on their busiest days, there is enough space that you do not feel too crowded. We look forward to each and every visit. They also bring in various special events each year. Last year was a lego thing and this year they have dinosaurs. My son is a bit young to enjoy them, but it is neat to see. It is unfortunate that they are charging for this one, but I can definitely understand why. If you want to see the Dino's it is $4 for members and $5 for everyone else. There is a lot construction going on, but that is something I do not mind, the Phoenix Zoo is always improving! I look forward to the indoor dining they are working on right now!
