  • If you love a side of pretentious judgement with your coffee then this is the place for you! I've been to the Strip District location three times, twice in the old location (now Thin Man Sandwhich Shop) and once in the new location down the street. I had hoped that the larger location would solve the slow and inconsistent service but indeed it did not. It should not take 35 minutes to get out a single cup of coffee and a cup of tea to your customers, especially when you aren't slammed with customers. It can't be the pour over method because we have been to Blue Bottle Coffee in San Fran and it was rather speedy, plus the coffee was fantastic. 21st coffee was pedestrian, and their little judgey way of not providing milk or sugar (you have to ask b/c it might defile their coffee so goodness forbid they leave it out like the other coffee shops). I seriously don't understand this place, their entire model is based on being giant coffee snob posers without actually providing a superior product.
