Last weekend was the first time I ever stayed at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Scottsdale and I have to say that my experience was mediocre. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and even offered my wife and I a complimentary prickly-pair margarita, which was beyond our expectations.
The downside was the resort was nice, but not worth paying full price for the room we had. We were able to get a good last minute deal, but I would have complained if we didn't get a discount. My biggest complaint of all was house-keeping woke us up at 8 in the morning. We didn't have our do not disturb sign out, but when you pay top dollar to stay at a nice resort, you shouldn't be woken up in the morning so they can clean your room. She must have knocked on our door 3 or 4 times before I woke up and when she started to get her keys out I told her the room was occupied and to leave us alone. After that, I could not go back to sleep, so that is why I only gave them 3 stars
