Fantastic dinner. Had foie gras poutine, foie gras pizza, plogue a Champlain, pasta with meatballs (for my picky eating mom), and a pork shank (similar to a beef bourguignon) (for my picky eating step dad). The poutine was delicious but a small portion. The pizza was surprisingly good (I would have never ordered it had the server not suggested it). The Champlain was tiny but the best dish by far. The pasta was very very salty but well done otherwise. The pork shank was lovely. What was more sensational than the wonderful food was our darling of a server (I think her name was Catherine). She was knowledgeable, attentive, sweet, and spent a lot of time with our table. By the end of the night, my parents were inviting her to stay with them if she ever visits the city where they live. She made our meal so much better. Overall, an expensive meal, but a great meal. The foie gras lover in me was very pleased.
