My favorite go-to ramen in the city. This location is much less crowded than the Spring Mountain one...it's larger and also further from the strip.
My usual order consists of the tonkotsu ramen with wavy noodles and the daikon salad as an appetizer. The tonkotsu broth is rich, flavorful and filling...everything a good tonkotsu should be. If I'm hungry, I order kaedama -- extra noodles -- for just $1.50 more, so make sure to save some broth of you're in the mood for extra. The daikon salad is a personal favorite. Light, refreshing, tasty...a perfect starter.
Also delicious...the pork belly bowl...filled with melt-in-your-mouth pork, the mentaiko (cod roe) bowl, the fried rice, and the chashu buns.
Life is too short for packaged ramen! Head over to Monta-chaya and treat yourself!
