This place is the best beer bar I've been to in a long while. Lots of good drafts and bottles from across the country, and good recommendations from the bartenders. Traveling on business, the Flying Saucer is a good call for dinner and a real surprise for beer lovers. The menu is dominated by sandwiches and burgers (in the $8-$9 range), but nothing really special. I'd bring my wife back with me, but would leave the kids at home. I'll be back for sure.
Follow up, a few months later. I've actually been here twice since the first review. The second time was pretty good, but I realized that the menu really doesn't offer much as far as 'real food' goes. This last time was yesterday (Sun, 6/13) and the bartender was kind of an a-hole. I think it was because I'm not a "local" as he was pretty condescending when I asked about the local beers. I'll probably go back, but not for food and will avoid the brown haired putz pouring the beers.
