Characters and interesting people every where you look. We came down to ride the top line of Slotzilla and see the light/music show. I love everything that is old Vegas combined with a bit of lights/new Vegas like what the strip has to offer. Feel like dancing in the middle of the street? Go ahead because everyone else is!! It's really an anything goes type of vibe but, do be respectful of other people.
The drink prices are cheaper here and there is every type of street performer you can imagine with the added bonus of the lit canopy with themed music and lights shows and live music on their stage. They have some pretty well known performers so check their website for the schedule. You can also duck into any one of the old casinos for a little bit of gambling or dining options. We decided to try the seafood buffet in the Fremont Hotel & Casino but, really there are great deals to be had at any of the places around here. I always try to come here for one night while I am in town.
It's also right across from Container Park which is a more family friendly low key option if that is what you are looking for. Also, stop into the Golden Nugget to see The Hand Of Faith. There is definitely some great photo opportunities and it can be an all out party the later it gets so make sure you are watching your belongings.
