  • I like this boutique because they offer a very wide variety of clothes and accessories that were made in Canada -- actually, mostly from Québec designers. It is great if you are willing to pay a bit more (usually more than 100$ per dress) to encourage local economy. Because I pay attention to the country of origin of the clothes I purchase, it is very easy to shop there because I don't have to look at every single label to know where the item was made. There are a lot of dresses that fit different styles: funky or traditional. Their salespersons are nice and competent. They give advice without being too pushy. The one thing I was less satisfied about is that one of the dresses I bought was made out of stretch fabric, such that the shoulder straps would extend and the dress would go down too low as I wore it. (Nothing I could see at the time I tried it on.) I called to know if they could fix it (they have a workshop at the boutique), but they said that the only type of adjustments they make is to shorten dresses that are too long. That's disappointing when you just paid a lot of money for a dress. I was ready to pay them for the work but they are just too busy to take care of that, and they do not know of anybody else in the neighborhood who can do those adjustments. Still, I am planning to go back next time I need a dress for work, a formal occasion, or a dressy night out.
