  • I've been coming here for many years now with my 3 pets and am highly annoyed with the two young women at the front desk this evening. I called on the phone prior to coming in today, asking if they're still open. I was told at 7:13pm that they are open until 8pm and if I wanted to be seen tonight, I'd have to make it before 7:30pm in order to avoid their after hour "emergency fee." I immediately got off the phone and made my way over with my dog. I don't live far and made it to the office, walking in AND signing in at 7:28pm to be exact. The young girl at the front desk walked away to the back, (no other person there to check us in/greet anyone) returning to acknowledge me finally at 7:35pm. Another young woman at the front desk approaches me and states that a $100 after hours emergency fee now applied due to the time. I mentioned how I walked in before their cut off time and wrote it down on their sheet and how the other receptionist walked away. She said their time had showed it was 7:30pm and that I'm welcome to come back tomorrow to avoid that fee if I'd like. I understand the policy, but I was there before that time. I've been a loyal client for many years, and by no means am I expecting special treatment by mentioning that, but just be honest. I got the impression they just wanted to go home and were hoping that fee deterred my dog being seen. I left and did not have my dog seen. I am highly disappointed with this place tonight. Not so sure I'll be returning as a client.
