  • Buyer Beware! Do not believe Orangutan's initial sales pitch. We have been with this company for several years dating back to when it was American Home. And DON'T get a service agreement with them! They are horrible!! First, if you have a service agreement they put you last everytime! Second, they send the newest and least experienced technician, third, 80 % of the times they service the unit they have to come back because they screw something up while the are servicing and fourth, for the last 10 + years, twice a year when I schedule service and they give me a 4 hr indow, they have missed the window by at least 2 hrs and some times until next day! Once again if you have a service agreement you go absolutely last and until they don't have anything else to do!
