| - What a disappointment in service.
My husband has been a loyal customer for over 10+ years, purchasing several vehicles from our dedicated and trustworthy sales associate, John Engen. For him, we are grateful.
This review is not about a vehicle purchase, but rather the service of our vehicles at the place we purchased them.
I purchase my Scion in 2012 and have had every service at this location. The last few services have been frustrating and expensive. This past experience topped the cake and we will be taking our business elsewhere.
I had a flat tire, in which found out the lug nuts where 'rounded' or stripped when I went to put on my spare. Meaning, I couldn't change my tire to a spare myself. I have never touched my tires, so this had to be caused by the dealership.
Upon taking my vehicle to have the tire replaced, we authorized a break replacement, as we were informed previously they were due. We did not authorize any other repairs.
When I went to pick up my vehicle, $575 later, they performed a brake fluid flush - $150 and charged me for replacing lug nuts.
As frustrated as I am, this experience has caused a lack of trust with my husband.
My husband has a 2011 Toyota Tacoma, which he again, purchased from this location. They have lied about repairs needed to be completed and the costs associated with them.
We feel the service department is there to make a buck, increase costs, misquote repairs and do unauthorized work.
Please do yourself a favor, take your vehicle to another, local mechanic, who has positive reviews and won't lie to you!
