This highly anticipated aquarium does not disappoint. The highlight is not the variety of species, but the layout and display of the tanks.
The $30 ticket was a bit much but definitely worth it for the first visit. I can't imagine spending that much money the second time through. I usually try to hold off for discounts but since the aquarium opened this year, I imagine I'd be waiting for quite some time.
The most exciting features are the tank that simulates an ocean's surf and the large tank with the tunnel was obviously the biggest feature as it contains several sharks and other large creatures.
I opted to forgo the touch tanks, but my boyfriend put his fear aside to touch the horseshoe crabs and rays.
If you're from Ontario, this aquarium will likely blow you away, but I'm sure there are better ones elsewhere in the world.
