| - Kinderland Cafe is an indoor playground for kids aged infant up to to 6 years old. They have lots of games and toys for the kiddos to play with, as well as a "cafe" which is a small area where you can purchase snacks and drinks.
I took my 14 month old here one Saturday afternoon to have some fun and tire him out. Upon entering, I noticed it was very busy but I decided to try it out anyway. It was $12 for a single visit, but they also have discounts if you buy multiple visits, and they have a monthly membership. The owner, Jessica, had me fill out some forms, and when I asked to pay she said I could pay later. There is a cubby up front where you can put your belongings. Make sure to bring socks as it is a socks only facility.
So we get inside and my kid is so excited he starts running around checking everything out. There were plenty of things to do, but I think because we went on such a busy day, it was limited. The jungle gyms were over run with older kids who were throwing balls from the ball pit at each other, so we stayed away. There was another ball pit in the middle of the facility, but there were older kids running around and jumping into that. I dont mind older kids. I do, however, mind their parents who are sitting on the couch with their faces buried in cell phones not paying attention to anything. He eventually got into the ball pit once Jessica told the kids they could no longer jump in the pit, which was nice. I am glad she was "hands on" and not just standing around. I saw her walking around cleaning up, and sanitizing toys which was nice. And putting kids in their place LOL. (She was very nice about it.)
There is supposed to be an infant/toddler only area, but it was over run by the massive amounts of people so that wasn't an option. At one point I saw at least 15 people walking in, and I wondered if there was a maximum capacity for how many people are allowed in the building, because it sure seemed like a lot. All in all, this was an okay place to pop our indoor playground cherry, but there are so many others in town I will have to try them before I come back here. If I do come back, it would have to be during the week when it's not so busy.
