  • A great experience begins when you walk into the leasing office to inquire about a place to live. The community manager and leasing assistant are both very friendly, courteous and respectful of your time as a potential resident. I worked with April, who took the time to show me multiple floor plans, explain to me the different options available, tour me around the community and most importantly ask me what I needed in a new apartment home. Once I decided on a floor plan, she found a unit coming available, level set expectations as to when I would be able to move in and the unit would be available. The application process: Everything is done online so you can submit your application, pay a small deposit (which is refundable if for any reason you do not get approved) and within a day I was notified about my application status. There were some issues with my application, but April immediately worked with me to find a solution so I could get into the unit in the very fast turnaround time needed so I was not penalized by my apartment community I was moving from. The move-in experience: The day I was scheduled to move in I started by completing the last few items of paperwork, April took me to my new apartment home and did a walk through to make sure everything was ready for move in. She provided me with multiple options on how my movers could quickly and easily access my apartment and made sure I had everything needed for my move to go smoothly. Living in the community: The complex is older, but they are remodeling the units as they become available so I moved into a totally new apartment. The renovation of my unit before move in made it equal to and even better than most new communities. On the property there is a large pool area, places to grill, a full fitness center and yoga studio, garage parking, green space for walking and playing with your dog and wifi in all the common areas. The management team is friendly and courteous and shows a genuine interest in making sure as a resident you feel at home. Overall, I would highly recommend 1420 Magnolia if you are looking for a midsize community with all of the amenities the new communities have, but the comfort of a well built, well maintained apartment home.
