Everything about my brief stay was superb! My boyfriend and I got to spend a fabulous night in casita number 215- which I am convinced has the best sunset view on property if not the best view, period! From the moment our valet opened the car door and we both set foot on property until after we checked out and drove off each staff member encountered was attentive, helpful, enthusiastic and just made you feel welcome. The exterior, the decor and artwork are all fantastic representations of the southwestern style and just enhance the beauty of the location by blending seamlessly.
Check in was easy, Aneta and Eddie were both very friendly and knowledgeable. They gave great dining recommendations at Proof too. Our bellman, who's name escapes me was very friendly and helpful as well. Our casita was a short walk from the main building and pools. The spacious bathroom, bedroom and sitting areas opened up to a veranda overlooking the pool with the gorgeous rock formation of Pinnacle Peak rising up in the background. The spot was perfect to watch the sunset in one of the comfortable deck chairs. The Four Seasons dream bed was perfect, this mattress was a little firm and gave great support. There was a sound machine to help you relax more too, if you weren't already.
We dined at Proof for dinner and again for breakfast. Food was excellent both times but the big MVP was our server at dinner Giovanni. He was so knowledgeable about the offerings and gave wonderful advice on the dishes. He made sure both of us were completely satisfied with our meals too.
My bottom line on this hotel, it's beautiful in a classic way and definitely the very definition of luxury but what will complete the experience and make your stay truly something to sit and write a review about are the people who fill it everyday and make sure you have enjoyed your stay. The staff make this place desert magic and an oasis.
