Don't waste your time with these folks.
One of their salesmen came out to give us a quote on 1 window (a very large custom-made foyer window). You would think that they would measure, then explain details of their windows & what needs to be done etc., then give you an estimate and answer any questions.
Two (2) hours later - the salesman is still trying to convince my wife to go ahead & sign the paperwork etc. - very pushy and unprofessional! After being told that she needed to talk it over with her husband first, he still kept pushing. (I wish I had been there - I would have told him to leave).
First - the salesman asks what our budget is - This is a huge red flag. The reason he did this was so that he could charge the most money possible. I deal with salesmen all the time & have a couple that work for me & you do NOT start a conversation by asking the client what their budget is.
Second - the price quoted was 4 times the price of other reputable companies. After being told this, the salesman then proceeded to put on a dog & pony show about how he needed to call his manager & see if he could come down on the price. Then he started talking about coupons (both current & expired) that he could offer, then he talked about how we could put a sign in our yard and receive a discount (for advertising) and then he talked about how he could knock a little more off the price if we agreed to give them good reviews on social media. This went on for a very long time - Total crap! We could see right through this charade! It was worse than a used car salesman.
This went on & on & on. Then he said if my wife didn't sign "tonight" that the price would go up etc. She was so tired of all this foolishness that she said "OK - the price will just have to go up", but she didn't sign anything.
He kept telling her that she needed to sign it - then she could cancel it within 3 days.
After reading the fine print at the bottom of the document he wanted her to sign, I saw it said that if you cancel within 3 days, Champion will charge you a fee ($1000 max or 5% of purchase price). So you can clearly see that this guy was just out to get money out of people at any cost! Very underhanded!
I would not use this company at all - too expensive and sneaky.
