  • I usually come to Jjanga and usually enjoy the food and service but this time I was extremely disappointed. The only reason why this review is getting 2 stars is because I enjoyed the food. But honestly the best tasting food can make you change your mind when it takes 30 minutes for you to get your first roll. Upon entry the lady (guessing she was new because she DID NOT know how to serve at all and I'm a server so I was giving her the benefit of the doubt for the first 20 minutes) took our drink orders, which you think wouldn't take so long since all I ordered was water but no I had to flag down another server after 15 minutes of just sitting and waiting before I got my glass of water. Placed our order and I did not get my first roll until we were sitting there for 30 minutes. Not to mention that all I ordered was nigiri! Later I asked for them to put a dash of Masago on top of my baked green muscles and our server proceeded to charge me EXTRA for a dash of Masago. Extremely disappointed and will definitely not be coming back to Jjanga. Definitely letting my friends know not to come to Jjanga unless they want to be charged extra, get horrible service and wait 30 minutes for the first roll to come out.
