  • I've loved this place for years. Candidly I haven't eaten at any other Ethiopian food restaurant in Phoenix, but Lalibela is just awesome. Atmosphere is a bit stark and too bright, but so is Ethiopia. Service is sketchy..had a hard time getting anyone's attention. But the food, whether you're vegetarian or not is excellent. Spicy when it should be, juicy when it should be. Stop thinking about it and go...the service shortfalls are worth the unique experience
