| - We found this company on Yelp and we were very excited based on the reviews, as we have been on a roll with great service providers doing quality customer oriented work courtesy of the Yelpers. We were in a bad way and needed pool repairs ASAP. George, the owner, came out and took a look at our pool for an $85 service call. He was 90 minutes later than promised but he called, so fine; he was a nice guy and very helpful so we figured it was an anomaly. He thought that he probably had our suction issue fixed, but we continued to have issues (as he said we might). He decided we likely needed a new pool pump - and we agreed. We had arranged to have the pool drained and pump replaced (which is no small investment) and they provided a window between 12-4, which rivals the cable company in vagueness and is a bit annoying but fine. Husband takes the majority of the day off work to be here, which costs a vacation day, and we confine three active dogs starting at 11:30. 4:30 rolls around and no show or call - guy finally calls at 4:45 and says it will be a half an hour longer at least and worse the guy tells us that the notes did not indicate a specific time window - so basically it was wasted vacation day with nothing to show (we could have been home by 5:15 no problem without taking a day off). At this point we figure we can give our (substantial) investment in a new pump to someone else, as we had collected a few referrals in the meantime. George was very nice and called after the fact (and offered to discount) but the cost of the repairs plus an unpaid work day (which day means we lost way more money than the offered discount) adds up to be too frustrating. They probably do great work, but I have a disgruntled angry husband and dogs that really want their doggy door and yard back (and a pool that still doesn't function). George gets a couple stars for effort and being nice, but the overall experience is truly worth only negative stars.
