What is up with Chrysler family service departments? Do they need to hire more service techs? Do they need to upgrade their diagnostic equipment to this century? I guess I should feel fortunate that Chapman's estimate for an oil change was only 1.5 hours instead of Earnhardt's 3 hours. However, I did have a 7am appointment, so I would expect more speedy service. I was assured however, that that is how long it takes. I have had Mazda, (previous) Jeep, Infiniti, and most recently Honda. They did not take 90 minutes for a freaking oil change!
I spoke with a service manager, and she said she' try to have it expedited. Their expedited service took 1:40 to complete. Honda used to get me in and out on a Saturday morning *with no appointment* in 30 minutes - with diagnostics and a car wash. On a bad day, 45.
The only reason I did give them 2 stars is they shaved my license plate to get it to fit in their bracket. Of course, if Jeep had designed/installed it right in the first place, that wouldn't have had to be done....
