8/2017 I took my 14 Passat in for stalling and was told it needed a new fuel pump. I took it home where it stalled again. The tech didn't know what was wrong so wanted to put a modular unit in to see if that would work. They happened to have a spare part so replaced it at no cost. I picked up my vehicle and they was damage to the rear passenger door. It was bent in at the frame with paint damage. They kept the car to fix it and it stalled again. They refunded me the cost of the fuel pump but the car was never repaired and the body work was done poorly. Bubble in the paint and the color didn't match. I called corporate to see if my cars problem had anything to do with recall on fuel pumps and they told me I had to take it back to the same dealership even though I felt uncomfortable. January 2018, the dealership said they needed to replace the modular unit again. I protested since they already did that and I didn't want to pay for something that obviously didn't work the first time. After findlay spoke to corporate, they told me they wouldn't work on my car any longer because I told corporate I didn't trust them which was true but I was told to go back. So, I had to pay for another tow to get my vehicle back. I took my car to another mechanic who easily diagnosed the car. The fuel pump they put in was malfunctioning and Findlay's tech put a hole in the hose somehow. My entire fuel system has to be replaced because of the faulty modular and fuel pump that was installed in my vehicle. It was causing to much fuel to be released therefore causing my car to stall. Do not take your vehicle here to be fixed. The value of my car has depreciated due to the body damage and they caused more problems then necessary.
