| - The process to get in could use some work. The person at the register was friendly enough, but it might be better to have paper waivers, or a "submit" button for when you're done with the waiver on the iPad.
The café portion, owing to the laws against running a restaurant inhabited by animals, is a self-serve venture with K-Cups, sodas, and Swiss Miss cocoa. That part was okay, and somewhat to be expected. At $2 for each drink after your first, it seems somewhat pricey.
The facility is spartan but clean. There is no cat odor, the cat boxes being kept behind closed door (with, of course, cat-only access).
My major concern is for the cats and customers with the business's practice of putting newly-acquired cats right on the main floor after acquiring them. One cat seemed to have ear mites, and also a shoulder injury. When my wife brought this to the attention of a staffer, she was repeatedly brushed off as this cat being new to the flock, and just being shy, but the cat was clearly liking to be petted, except for touching the shoulder. After insisting that there seemed to be something up with the cat (for more than five minutes), someone who appeared to be the owner, said they hadn't gotten the cat checked by a vet yet, and that the cat had just arrived the day before.
Overall a kinda fun place for the $5 intro price. I don't know that I'd pay $10.
