| - Took my parents here for an early Father's Day dinner and they loved it.
We started with the Fish House Seafood platter. The fresh oysters, shrimp, scallop cerviche and king crab tasted very sweet.
For our first course, we had the clam chowder - Wow! one of the bests in Vegas (I always order clam chowder and compare it to others) and I had the ceasar salad which I enjoyed. The dressing was nice and light.
For our main course, my father had one of Emeril's signature dishes, the Seafood Pan Roast. It had shrimp, muscles and andouille sausage on top of perfectly spiced rice. We all tried it and loved it.
I had the blue crab crabcakes and it was heavenly. Lightly seasoned with a beautiful sauce - and only enough so that you can enjoy that sweet blue crab taste.
My mother had the tasty Rib-Eye with the smoothest, most delicious red potato mash. We were tasting and enjoying each other's entrees very much.
Lastly, we topped the night off with "Taste of New Orleans" dessert sample which had smaller samplings of Southern Pecan Pie, Bread and Butter Bread Pudding and Creamy Banana Pie. We polished off that plate!
All in all, the great food was surpassed only by the attentive service. In total, I think 5 people waited on us and it really made for such a wonderful dinner. Kudos to the chefs in back and thank you to the servers and wait staff - you made me a hero in front of my parents and you guys rock!!
