  • We have this West Elm location in Bakery Square to thank for our dining table, matching bench, and 6 chairs. Paula assisted us through the entire process--browsing the store and then, later, ordering via phone and email when we decided to pull the trigger to take advantage of an online 20% off promotion that thankfully Paula was able to match. Paula was great. Husband and I purchased the Emmerson reclaimed wood dining table in pine and in the longest length (87") as well as the matching 73" dining bench. (We passed on the $100 cushion for the bench.) If you're into a rustic aesthetic then I highly recommend the Emmerson collection. The wood comes from shipping pallets--FSC-certified, of course. A fun story to tell, and the variation in the color of the wood is fantastic. I also like that the texture is rough but not rough enough that splinters are an issue. We also purchased 6 Xavier chairs, metal and wood. Loved that Paula was able to extend the 20%-off-original-prices online deal to us, resulting in substantial savings. Be warned though: the taxes, shipping, and delivery surcharge really add up. Check it out, the breakdown of our dining table and bench order follows: dining table and bench (after discount): $1,518.40 delivery surcharge: $150.00 shipping & processing: $151.84 tax: $109.22 I'd come to West Elm again for the right piece of furniture or for a special accessory. And you know how I am, no trip to any store is complete without a stop in the clearance section, and West Elm's clearance section wasn't too shabby.
