Near Aunt Margie's house so we met Aunt Shirley and Sloan for dinner on a Friday night. Everyone's first time here, two had never eaten Cuban food. I have, but didn't want just a Cuban sandwich. Aunt Margie had a sandwich and she said it was good, but not much meat. She also expected peppers on it, but if they were there, finely chopped and cooked in with meat. I had no idea what I was ordering, but the waitress recommended it and it was named for me--pollo la ajillo. It was breaded chicken and fried served with a very garlicky gravy/sauce. Normally I wouldn't order something breaded and fried, but it was very good and I ate the entire generous portion, which also came with a small perfectly dressed side salad. Aunt Shirley had the avocado salad, which looked like a delicious work of art. Sloan ordered the same thing, but only ate half if it. Glad to take the rest home for another meal. Everyone said they'd come back. That's a pretty good testament to how much we enjoyed it.
