  • I love Lola Coffee! I am especially addicted to the cupcakes (the root beer cupcake is my fav) when they have it. Lola, make sure you are stocked up on the cupcakes. Also, love the homemade whip cream! The atmosphere is great, with the light rail rolling by and people traffic walking by. I only have 2 gripes with Lola: First, the hours of business are odd. Mon-Thurs open till 7 and Sun open till 2. I usually go to the Phoenix Art Museum on Free Day (Weds, 3-9p) and take the light rail to Lola's afterward. Usually I leave at around 8 and like some coffee before I go home. Sundays are my extremely lazy days and would love to hang out at Lola's with a good book and great coffee. Also, first dates are great at coffee spots. Staying open longer would be amazing on those days. My second gripe is the music. Usually after 5ish, the music playing is way too loud. With Lola offering work spaces and free internet, lowering the volume would be very much appreciated.
