| - Okay, so I've been to a handful of vets in the surrounding area and I've never really had an issue with any of them. I chose this particular vet due to them being open on Sunday and being located very close to my house.
The facilities are clean, the people are polite, and the prices are reasonable. Or at least for the particular issue my dog was having. If it's your first visit, you'll receive half-off the exam fee. We experienced no pressure when we declined some of the recommendations they suggested. Everyone on staff is very professional.
My chihuahua hates going to the vet and can immediately recognize that he's at one based on the smell alone. Fortunately, the doctor who was assigned to us (Dr. Stockmann) and staff were all very patient and understanding. We were prescribed the appropriate medication for his eye irritation, as well as the usual instructions on how to apply.
We ended up returning to them several weeks later when my girlfriend's rescue chihuahua had to have a great deal of his teeth removed due to decay problems. The price was on par with most other vets, with the exception of the universities, of course. Their hours and availability resulted in her choosing them over a few cheaper alternatives. Her little dog was well taken care of before, during, and after the procedure with no complications to note.
What I really like about this place, however, is the fact that they allow payment plans without going through a credit company. This is extremely helpful if a situation arises where the procedure would be a big financial blow otherwise.
Honestly, no one really wants to take their dog to the vet. And the less I have to take my dog there, the better off things are. But if the situation calls for it, I would definitely use them again.
Highly recommended!
