  • This is a pretty unique candy store located in the lower level/ middle, near the Microsoft store (shaped like an extended rectangle- deep), a welcome addition to the Fashion Show Mall, indeed (this is one of the few malls in town that is consistently bringing in new stores and brands, BTW, amidst many recent retail departures). Our visit was last saturday. I was pleasantly surprised at the international offerings (The UK, Asian- Pocky- that is a familiar sight to me, growing up in the Bay Area). There is a macaron counter (left front side). They have samples- we saw three ladies offering up goodies (Yum!). You can also ask to try other candy items as well (the coconut macaron is fab). Everything is arranged neatly and the displays are organized by type of candy or "from". There is also bulk candy (select your own) in more than one area, with two different price points (*over a pound is cheaper, than under a pound*). You can also sample items from the bulk candy sections but you must ask for assistance from a clerk- you can't help yourself to it. The containers for the bulk candy was also interesting. There were several different types of containers for purchase (all of the selections of containers were clear). It is certainly more appealing (something for everyone, unless, you don't like sweets) than the numerous It's Sugar stores around the city (which is mostly novelty candy and bulk candy, maybe even something from one's childhood; not to say that I am knocking It's Sugar, it's just expanded, the selection from this store, is all I am saying, there's just more candy types here). The sales clerks have a specific outfit (think Disney, old time, old-fashioned feel). Everyone working on the floor and behind the counter were all very nice and enthusiastic. The energy was that this was something fresh and exciting (and they were right!). My hubby was like a kid in a candy store, hahaha (but everyone in there was ooh'ing and ahh'ing, basically). I'm excited that this store is here. Maybe this is a tester, and more locations will pop up if it's successful. I can see this store doing well in either Town Square or Downtown Summerlin.
