  • We went on Saturday, May 2nd around 9:00am. We were a party of six. The hostess (if you would call her that) advised us it would be a 20-25 minute wait. So we sat and waited. People came and also waited. After 25 minutes, we were going to inquire about the wait when another gentleman very politely spoke with the "hostess" to inquire about why no one was being seated when there were plenty of tables both inside and out that were available. The "hostess" stated that no one was being seated until all the tickets were cleared in the kitchen. While we were sitting waiting, the wait time increased significantly for newcomers. Some times were quoted at 45+ minutes. We felt this was unacceptable as we were never informed of what was happening and were not offered anything to drink, perhaps a discount for the long the wait or at the very least an apology. The gentleman asked to speak with the manager to which the "hostess" stated the manager had told her 10 minutes previously not to seat anyone. She apologized however she would not make eye contact when the apology was given. In fact, she completely looked the other way when she apologized not once, but twice. We ended up leaving. We advised the other patrons that were also waiting inside and out what had transpired and they left as well. The "hostess" had no business being in a hostess position as she had absolutely NO customer service skills. The manager should have come out and advised us what was happening and she never did. In fact, she never made eye contact to any of us. There needs to be more training or more staff. I had been there once before on a weekday morning and had a pleasant experience (other than the fact we paid almost $30 for a party of 2). Hence the reason I recommended to my family we should go. I was very disappointed at the experience we had. We won't be going back any time soon.
