  • This practice has really changed the last few years, and unfortunately not for the better. First seeing Dr. Bruce Sobel, and then continuing care with one of their practice PA's was going along OK until I actually developed a health issue. Now, with severe sciatic pain and back pain, I am looking for definitive care and treatment. The PA's version was just to give more and more heavy-duty meds to help me sleep at night, etc. When I called today to make an appointment with Dr. Bruce or his brother Dr. Jerry - the two with the most expertise in musculoskeletal disorders - I was told that I could "not" make an appointment with them...that because I had been seeing the PA, I 'had to' see the Dr. with whom she works (brother Dr. Larry). I repeatedly questioned it, and the medical scheduler even put me on hold twice to ask someone in the office - just to be told that "No, you have to see Dr. Larry." Well, not only is that absurd, but it is not the kind of practice I want to be involved with. After several years, I am switching to a practice that has its priorities where they need to be: on the patient and their care - not some ridiculous set of office policies or politics.
