Probably the worst airline ever!!! There's a reason why their flights are not so pricey , the customer service and the manner at which they handle their customers says a lot. You get what you pay for! I was forced to checkin my tiny roller at the gate and said any passengers in zone 4 must check in. Why do I have to check In!? Why let your customers know that you can carry a small piece of luggage and a personal when that's not the case . I didn't plan for it therefor was struggling to get on the plane while trying to figure out what in my luggage was breakable . I also have physical health issues that my roller that they demanded to check in which helps me with my personal bag so I don't have to lift . Once I got on the plane , I noticed there was more than enough space to carry on my bag, to top it off they allowed NON REVENUE standby passengers to Carry on , but not me? After I got on? Because that makes Sooo much sense. When I asked the flight attendant , she said sorry you can't get your bag while it was just sitting there . When I got off at JFK I started to experience massive pain because I didn't have my roller to assist with my other personal bag. Low and behold , my personal items were treated like crap, I have a few broken electronics now ! Thanks aa! I will NEVER choose you as my airline again! Suggestion- perhaps you should allow people to actually board the plane and put their luggage in the overhead before making that stupid judgement call claiming there wasn't space . Dumb move !
