| - I gave Chris the salesman a check for $800 down, waited 3 weeks which is standard, but then the morning scheduled for pergola installation the 2 guys were 2 hours late; explanation traffic. Their "best" installer Allen wasn't here an hour before he had some kind of temper tantrum. As we were discussing post positioning and overhang, he just suddenly started cussing and threw the tube in his hand across my newly landscaped yard, clipping a 6 ft spiral privet tree and then leaving in a huff! The office girl Sharon wasn't very apologetic, but Chris then showed up with another crew. They worked 4 hours during the hottest part of the day, and their only real accomplishment was installing the header to my home, because they cut one of the posts 8 inches short. They seemed liked they had never done this before! Chris who is 300lbs plus, spent the whole time sweating on my new patio couch, and at one point set some sharp tools down on my brand new pottery barn table! They had no respect for my home whatsoever, throwing empty water bottles in my wall planter, leaving aluminum shavings everywhere. My patio area wasn't quite square and Chris had not noticed this when he gave me the estimate, so the job involved more tweaking than they had counted on. They left around 4, after wasting my whole day in the process, promising to be back Monday morning. Now its Saturday and the office girl calls me saying she has talked to the owner and they will return my deposit, be available 7AM Monday. If I want reimbursed for my tree, I will have to produce receipts.WOW, beware of this shady company!!!!!
