  • A great cafe in my old neighborhood. They serve strong Alterra coffee and have unusually friendly staff. The cold-brewed ice coffee is perfect on a warm day. Between their punch card deal and free refills, the coffee's dirt cheap. All the snacks are vegan-friendly, which means some of it is great and some are a miss (Sorry, some things are meant to have dairy in them.). A few groups claim this as their regular business meeting spot and won't be afraid to push you around. Be warned. However, the early morning retirees are always fun. The place has few windows, so the back area feels a little on the dungeon side. Try to get a window seat near the front. Come back in on Friday or Saturday for live music.
