  • Lazy, inconsiderate and probably prejudice, that was the feeling I got. In today at 3:34PM, appointment at 3:45P to drop off and to have blood drawn, but first I asked a question I already had the answer to, "Do you have my prescription? it was sent via fax." The woman picked up a file folder with about 20 sheets inside. She then - in my face - flicked about two pages within the folder and said, "No it's not here. I just checked." Her eyes moved upon the file for no more than two seconds. I then told her, I was there yesterday and UCLA not only called me but emailed me that the script was received by this particular Quest. I immediately called UCLA while standing there. Not only was the script faxed to this location as Quest requested, but UCLA had a conformation that they received it at this Quest, 761S Rainbow. I asked her to look again. Told the woman that this is exactly what happened last two times. That the last time I fought back, wouldn't take no for an answer, when Quest employee stated the prescription was not received. Not in the computer system and not in the fax file. I fought and fought, and when they knew I wouldn't leave the woman found a file and said, "oh, here it is." How can we really trust the test and preparations for specimens, blood , etc, are being protected by people who can't wait to dismiss you because of what you look like.
