  • The guided tour here is approximately 90 minutes, and runs $44/person. The staff here is very friendly, very well-versed in their roles, and clearly take a lot of pride in putting up a good and amusing show for their audiences (and principally for this reason, I'm going to err on the nice side and give them that 5th star. Plus, they have clean restrooms, so that also helps). I'd describe this place as a hybrid of a legit historical museum (they had Jack Kevorkian's Death Van and the Dybbuk Box, among other noteworthy objects with dark associations), and a "horror house" (***SPOILER ALERT***: expect the possibility of jump scares, but take heart in knowing that they won't overdo it). While this honestly wasn't *quite* my favorite stop in Vegas (the museum's subject matter is not really a core interest of mine), I still had a fun time here overall, and I really appreciated the effort made by the museum crew to make our visit a memorable and enjoyable one. The theme of the museum is certainly unique in nature. If you have a propensity to gravitate towards macabre subjects and enjoy cheap thrills (i.e. like people trying to psych you out), there's definitely worse ways to spend your money and time while in Vegas.
