  • I read an article in the Las Vegas Weekly about 25 sandwiches to eat that included the French from Cured & Whey. It was lunch time, we were near by so why not? The only problem was locating it in an industrial area, but it wasn't all that much of a problem and it turned out to be well worth the trouble. It is a small purveyor of gourmet cheeses and other eatables, but also serves sandwiches at lunch time. A small sign indicated breakfast soon be available. There are not a lot of tables and most of the customers seemed to be workers from nearby businesses. Back to the food, we ordered the French that included Parisian ham, green apple slices and Brie layered on a fresh baguette that had been lightly caressed with Dijon mustard and a balsamic glaze. Delicious! A return visit for the breakfast and/or lunch is a given.
