  • I've been here a handful of times now. This place has transitioned quite a lot since the first visit. But my hope is that things have steadied because my most recent visit was fantastic! I'd like to think that it's my fault, actually. I just followed my instincts when I chose my cocktail. The Nicaraguan had gin, coffee, grapefruit, and tonic water in it. (I'm sure there's some other special ingredient I'm forgetting.) From the first sip I was in love. It was summer in a glass. It had a great coffee flavor . It was refreshing. AND it was really funky! On top of that, we were able to grab a seat on the couch - which was the first time I've ever seemed to have that as an option. Did they used to close it off with a drape? (Rhetorical...) Maybe it was early enough that seating wasn't reserved. At any rate - we lucked out and that made the atmosphere all the more enjoyable. Service was great - I was skeptical. Since we chose the couch, I thought that we would have an unattentive server. But he brought water right away and refilled it very timely for us. I hope to come back again soon for another round of date night!
