  • First of all i would like to say i own several homes in different areas. I personally manage them and would never treat any of my tenants the way i have been treated. As for my tenants that are awesome and pay all their bills i make sure they always have everything they need and make myself available anytime and keep an open line of communication. I now live in las vegas and found myself needing a larger home and decided renting for a bit would be the best option. Too bad it was with haven homes. From day one they have been bad. I remember talking to the realtor james rodriguez on the phone and he was so rude. Instead of saying no to my questions he would rudely say NEGATIVE!! I was so turned off by him that i almost didn't rent the home. I should have took the warning and moved on. I ended up turning in my rental app with tamika who was really nice and so i decided i just might have got one rude person with james. Tamika always called me back and handled my lease signing. I was told the homes they owed (including my property) they bought and they were a kind of an investment company of sorts, so there are no homeowners to have to get permission from. Everything was their decision and handled directly through them. We ended up moving in and doing a walk through with a nice maintenance man. In the few days after moving in i started finding so many things wrong. The fridge door handle came off, one of the cabinet door was just sitting there not attached, the washer gets this nasty stuff all over our dark clothes, the water in the kitchen sink barely get warm, the outside light by the garage dont work. TRYING TO GET THEM TO FIX ANYTHING IS A NIGHTMARE AND YOUR LEASE SAYS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL APPLIANCE REPAIRS. So if my fridge stops working they don't fix it or split the cost and you must return it in perfect working condition. I called for my repairs within the first week of moving in and would never get a call back. Then after calling and complaining multiple times to someone in a call center in another state i get a call from a maintenance man wanting to set up an appointment for 2 weeks from now. Then i he has the nerve to tell me that im past my 30 (they are pay for repairs in the first 30) days. I said "oh hell no" I have been calling since the 3rd day i moved in. Half the stuff got fixed and the other half they made excuses for and never fixed. My house is over 3000 sq. feet and they have a tiny fridge in the home. I finally decided they need to come pick up my washer, dryer and Fridge since im not happy with them. If they are going to make me pay for all repairs if they break then you can have them back and ill get nice new high end ones and not worry about breaking your old ones because you can have them. When i move out them can put them back in the house. They said they will not take them. I told them they need to come get them. They said no. I dont have to use them but they are not going to come get them. It took me 3 weeks and a couple different phone calls for them to tell me know. He gave me excuses like i have to talk to the homeowner and i said there is no owner and you know that. ALSO THEY MOVED AND CHANGE PHONE NUMBERS. I HAD TO GOOGLE SEARCH TO FIND THEM. This place is a joke. Find someone who is worth you money not this place. Now im just waiting for them to raise my rent at the end of my lease like they do to everyone else. So messed up.
