| - I had been searching for wedding dresses (in the phoenix area) online, and little by little I started noticing that the vast majority of my favorite dresses were from Brilliant Bridal. I'm over a year away from my wedding date and so on a whim I headed over to BB one afternoon, thinking that it would just be a fact finding mission and not end in a purchase.
I was introduced to Melissa, who would be my consultant, and was impressed by her knowledge, welcoming persona and vested interest. She was determined to help me find the perfect dress for me--that I wanted-- and not the most expensive or trendy dress. So refreshing!
Every dress I tried on at BB looked more beautiful on than all the other dresses I had tried on at other shops. Even though the first dress was my absolute favorite (and I ended up buying it!!), I still feel that had one of the their dresses been slipped into the stock of another bridal store I had been to previously, I would have happily bought it.
BB has a great policy-- if you are considering purchasing a dress and would like to 'sleep' on it, you can pay $54 to hold the dress for 7 days. At the end of the 7 days the $54 either goes toward your purchase of the dress if you'd like to buy it, or is converted to store credit.
I ended up 'sleeping' on my dress. I absolutely loved it but wanted to take some time-- it's a HUGE decision! Everyone sees pictures of you in that dress for the rest of your life- it's your most visualized outfit.
I came back 7 days later and wanted to try on some other new dresses and then the one I had on hold, to make sure it was absolutely perfect and my ultimate top choice. Carly, my consultant for that day graciously helped me through all these dresses and helped me feel confident I was making the right decision!
Being a yelp elite, I can't fail to mention the best part--- a 10% discount for checking in! This was a huge help for my budget, and BB gladly gave me the discount with no fuss or difficulty.
The set up of BB is wonderful. It's well organized and makes browsing easy, plus, the consultants pull dresses based on your preferences that is also very helpful (Melissa originally found mine!). The changing rooms are spacious and the pedestals and mirrors are enough to make you feel special and like a princess. I went at the end of the day both times with my hair a mess and make up smudged and was still happy with how I looked in my dress at BB.
Thank you SO much for a great experience Brilliant Bridal! I wish you had bridesmaids dresses. I'll make sure to post pictures of me in my dress at my wedding down the road!!
