My hairspray exploded in my suitcase, lucky for my clothes, they were saved from the explosion but not so lucky for my Red Chloe bag who absorbed all that hairspray. Unknowingly I tried to soak the bag in soap and water to get some of the hairspray out, little did I know that it started to grow mould while it was drying. I took it to a local dry cleaner who did "leather cleaning" as well. After 2 months of waiting i went to collect my destroyed bag . It was stiff and the wrong colour. They had sprayed painted the bag (including the hardware) a brown/red color. The leather had lost its lustre it was literally a write - off for me for months until i can figure out what to do with it.
Luckily i found Love your Leather. Service and staff are friendly/amazing. Tony the owner has so much passion for his business and work that he gave us a tour of his shop and equipment and described how he would fix the bag. Its like a chef taking customers to his kitchen and showing them how a meal is prepared. I felt full confidence that Tony would be looking after my interests and genuinely wanted to make sure I had my bag back in a better shape than it was in. He saved my bag, by starting scratch and brought out the red out of the bag including the natural suppleness of the leather. I can't thank him and his staff enough. The only reason why I'm not giving a 5 was because it did take a longer time than expected, but because I wasn't in a rush to get it (i completely wrote the bag off so getting it back was a bonus) it didn't effect my overall experience too much. Will definitely be recommending this to friends and family!
