Download books to your Kindle, an audiobook to your phone or reserve a paper copy in seconds through the Overdrive App. An email will let you know your books are ready for pickup and you'll find them near the front labeled with your name. Did I mention, it's free? Want to watch an old movie or TV series that you can't find on Netflix? Or maybe you want to rock out to a greatest hits CD, without a Spotify subscription or iTunes account? Are you catching on... the library is free. Maybe you do everything from your phone or tablet now and haven't upgraded your laptop for the two times a year you need to type and print something. Ok, so if do you need to copy something you may need to search the sofa for a dime. You won't see a card catalogue anywhere, but you can still find books 'the old fashioned way' on a shelf. The Sahara location is a beautiful building that displays art and has a small used book shop. There are regular children's programs, book clubs and senior activities as well as occasional speakers and events. Summary... You should check out your local public library. It may even be a good place to meet a guy or girl who reads. ;-)
