  • This place is amazing. Beautiful spa with hot and dry saunas, indoor hot tubs, outdoor private pool and hot tub, spa treatments, poolside food & drink service... THE WORKS! But the staff here is even better! I just ended a business trip and came to relax at the spa after lunch before heading to the airport. I ate lunch at King's Fish House across the street from the resort, and ended up with food poisoning. It hit me when I was at the spa pool, so I went into the locker room to use the bathroom. Silvia, who works at the spa, noticed I wasn't well and spent the next two and a half hours taking care of me while still doing her job at the spa... She went above, beyond and out of her way to make sure I was okay and had anything and everything I needed! She even called security to bring me a wheel chair so I didn't have to walk from the spa to the front desk to check back in. (Its a pretty short walk.) Silvia, thank you so much for all your help and care today. You are one amazing woman and the GVR Spa is lucky to have you! Also, want to give a shout out to Rick on the security team for wheeling me around and helping me to get checked back in and settled.
