Stayed here the last time hubby and I went to vegas. My sister got promo code for discounted rooms so we took advantage. $199 per night after taxes, not bad for wynn. We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room we got was on the 52 floor which had view of the strip and despite my fear of heights I was enjoying baller status even for just a couple days.
The pro's was the service, everyone was friendly and nice. The concierge gave us bottles of water each time we stopped by. Also, while staying there I got to hang out in the lobby and hubby bought me a little present from chanel. There's two of them here, one inside the wynn lobby and the other on the encore side. (my sister stayed there) I didn't prefer the encore since it was pretty much the same except the color scheme is different. Speaking of the lobby however, we went during chinese new year and the wynn does not play. They went all out for this occasion and I really appreciated seeing my culture being celebrated. It was sooo elegant and just breathtaking. Hint - do check out the popeye statue, I walked by this thing several times and didn't bat an eye but after someone telling me this cost 28 mil, you bet your ass I went back and took photos in front of it!
Con's- there's really just one. I would totally stay here again if it wasn't so far off from the rest of the action. we cab everywhere because it was just too far to walk.
If you are in the mood for a show, I highly recommend La Reve, the dream. This is a cirque de soleil and a bit pricey but I thought it was so well done that it was worth every penny. It was truly dreamlike and sooo pretty. A must see!
