| - So many treats under one roof - my only option was to load up and take multiple items home. The truffles are the highlight, ranging from $1.25 - $2:50 each. Flavours were very unique - Mango, Green Tee, Pineapple and Green Apple. We picked 10 different truffles. Tried one so far and happy to report the Green Tea truffle is very good.
The fudge was a major disappointment. We purchased the Chocolate Caramel and Vanilla bean half slices (about $3.50 for a half slice). The fudge was very hard, I think it might have been sitting there for a bit (which is odd given that they were making fudge from scratch in the store). The fudge didn't taste very good either, lacked the rich home-made flavour I'm used to. I enjoyed much better fudge at other chocolate stores in the GTA. Definitely not worth the calories (threw it out).
They have a huge selection of cakes, cup-cakes, candy apples, taffy, peanut brittle and mini pies. I had the ice cream in the summer and it's excellent. They have Kawartha ice cream and my fav. selection - Moosetracks. The hot chocolate looked interesting, I think they use actual chocolate bars . Will have to try that on another visit.
Warning - It smells so good in the store, it's impossible not to buy something. Definitely worth a try, but stay away from the fudge.
