  • The owner is more concerned with bossing potential customers around than selling things. I was there less than 10 minutes and this is what I get: "Don't sit there, move closer to the wall to make room" (I was the only customer there at that point, by the way) "Don't sing" (If your store can't handle a singer trying out an acoustic guitar, how would it handle an electric player using overdrive?) I closed the door to the acoustic room precisely because I wanted to test how the guitar worked with my voice. He opened it back up. Guess he thought I would stuff a whole guitar under my coat and walk off with it or something. Oakville has an unusually high number of instrument stores and Hamilton and MIssissauga have many good ones as well. There is no reason to go to The Guitar World.
