  • Hi my name is Ricardo, and I'm a fragrance-holic**. B&BW is one of those single-purpose stores that I have grown to cherish because of their relentless marketing push via good deals and ridic-coupons. Their purpose in life (at least the way I see it) is to make stuff smell better. Makes you smell better, makes your car smell better, makes your house-office-bathroom-kitchen smell better. You get the smell right? Now not only does it just do that but it'll make you smell better while moisturizing your hands, or sanitizing your hands, or reducing stress, or heightening energy, or enhancing your bath water ... so it serve an infinite number of dual purposes. Our three main purchases every time we go (We're averaging once a week!) are: hand/body lotion, sanitizer, and candles. Well John goes for the first two and I pilfer his ... I am just a candle fanatic (a side effect of liking to smell nice smells and pyromania). For the most part out standard scents are Warm Vanilla Sugar and Coconut Lime Verbena. They do have some upcoming scents that I'm pretty excited to check out ... I've yet to smell a good lemon-based one so that'll be interesting and of course they're coming out with the "Vanillas" which is always cool to see how people spin that classic. The product themselves are high quality, and neither I nor any of my fellow fragance-holic friend have experienced any ill effect from using B&BW products, w00t. Now I sometimes am half tempted at buying unscented lotion and mixing it one-to-one ratio with the B&BW lotion just to soften the extended blow to the nostrils. More on this later. As for their candles, and I used to be a Yankee Candle Fan, I'm starting to feel the Slatkin & Co B&BW combo are the winners. You need to be the big ones...or at least the medium ones. While other brands might back a larger scent punch...the ones by Slatkin & Co sold at B&BW do the smells justice and emit an even scent. **I get migraines from prolonged smells, so there's certain scent categories that I do have to avoid for my own sake. B&BW for the most part manages to highlight the scents at their store without making it a headache minefield, kudos to them. And aside from the lotions being a tad on the strong side at times, the rest of the products have even strengths which leads to like almost extended-release niceness as opposed to strong now and weak later which usually flips the headache switch!
