Plenty has been said about the CN Tower and its magnificent height, it is truly a must see in Toronto. Whenever I bring new visitors to the city, CN tower is on the short list.
OK, business traveler tip of the day... DON'T BUY THE ENTRANCE TICKET TO THE OBSERVATION DECK....
Make a reservation at the 360 Restaurant that sits near the top of the CN Tower and get into the observation deck for FREE! Each diner must purchase an entree but the entrance fee and the cheapest entree cost about the same... My business traveler brethren will understand this point immediately, you can expense dinner! It's a $0 personal expense to see a great attraction in a great setting...
The food is decent, I always get a steak of some sort and I am always satisfied. The real attraction here is that the dining room rotates so you can take in spectacular views of the city while you are dining! It takes about an hour for the entire rotation so have a leisurely lunch or dinner and take in all the sights. When you have completed your meal, the entrance to the main observation deck is complimentary...
