| - The Good: The service was super attentive, the ambiance was really fine, the food was good, particularly the chunky guacamole in the Dip Duo and the steak my companion ordered. The bar menu was interesting and the wine list was well chosen. My companion's dessert, a homemade Oreo sandwich, looked amazing.
The Not So Good: I have food intolerances, but I'd rather just order carefully than discuss them with strangers. That means I rely on accurate menus, not ordering the entrée that comes with ponzu, even though I love Ahi, and asking for no almonds on my Macho Salad. It's really good and half as big as one I'd make for myself, which makes it a very large salad, but it was a chore removing the many croutons and getting all the corn out would have required more patience than I have.
I'd probably eat here again quite happily, if it didn't require that conversation ("So, I can't eat..., etc.), but it does, so I'd rather move on to one of the many other fine restaurant choices in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
