| - Simply put, I will never take a cab in Vegas again. Ever.
Reason #1: cab ride from the airport took us on the longest route ever, which leads into....
Reason #1: cab ride from airport to Freemont cost $54.73. unreal.
Reason #3: went to Casa Don Juan just south of Freemont for early dinner, and cabbie complained to us the entire trip about how he wanted us to go to the strip so he could make more money. Seriously the entire trip. It's 4pm - what the hell else was he doing? he should've been happy for any fare!
Reason #4: after we finished our meal at Casa, we asked the hostess to call us a cab to go to MGM (i.e. far fare for cabbie), and she called multiple companies and EVERY CAB company REFUSED TO COME. We had to walk to the Stratosphere to get a cab (20 min walk).
Reason #5: My first Uber ride was amazing. I was sitting outside a mall trying to order an Uber for the first time and a guy pulls up asking if I'm waiting for an Uber. I tell him I'm about to order one and he said great and waits for me to press send and bing! his order comes through and I hop in the car. It was unreal! Reason #6: my first Uber ride was from basically the Paris casino to Freemont. It cost me $10.35. Amazing!
Reason #7: we took Uber to the airport, and there was construction, which in a cab would've cost me a fortune for the detour, but Uber has a set price. And to the airport including the airport fee was $21. I saved at least $29!
