Shopped at Living Spaces for an ottoman. Husband works at a very large furniture store but we couldn't find exactly what we were looking for there so I forced him to let me shop here :) We were helped by Gayle and she was absolutely wonderful! She helped us find the perfect ottoman with the perfect fabric that would fit nicely in our living room. We ordered our ottoman and were told it would be about 3 weeks since it was a special order. I waited 4 weeks and called the customer service number and was told the item had been at the warehouse for several days!! Ottoman was paid for when ordered so they were apparently in no rush to let us know. First customer service representative I spoke with was very sweet, understood my frustration and explained there wasn't much they could do..ugh! I called back and asked to speak to a manager to just cancel my order if it wasn't that important to them. Manager was absolutely terrible! Rude from the moment he answered, he said there was no one in the entire company who could waive the 25% restocking fee...for their awful customer service! This guy does not care about the customers at all. I wasn't trying to get my ottoman for free or anything, just wanted it cancelled or delivered to me without having to pay the $99 delivery fee, for the inconvenience which he said was impossible. He finally said that he would listen to my first call and if I was told that my ottoman had been there for several days he would deliver it for free. Needless to say, ottoman was delivered the following day for free but I received no apology for the no call. I will NEVER shop here again, apparently customer service means nothing to this place!
